The Restorative Cycle:Personal Conservation and Dormancy Personal Written Reflections

It wasn't until I reached my 30s that I discovered and would grow to appreciate the power of slowing down and taking care of myself.

The Restoration Cycle taught me the importance of disconnecting from the noise of everyday life and practicing stillness and conservation of my energy. Through intentional time spent self-caring, tending, and nurturing myself, and journeying with deeper reverence for rest, I found my sense of belonging in the world that for so long I yearned for, and I stopped living by other people's expectations. This sacred time and cycle of restoration was not just physical medicine but also energetic, spiritual, and vibrational. It allowed me to thrive and feel whole and centered in my life and lifestyle.

Taking those deliberate breaks from my busy, ever-evolving, and at times, challenging life was the best thing I could have done to reset, heal, grow, and expand myself. It was a divine way of supporting the process. It helped me break free from negative energy, toxic cycles, and spiritual warfare that was controlling and sabotaging my well-being. Slowing down and being still became a form of spiritual alchemy, allowing the necessary time for healing and transformation to take root in my mind, body, energy, and soul.

A Time of Sacred Alchemy

In the lower vibrational aspect, chaos and noise of my previous life, I couldn't find my true self, my sovereignty, or my sense of belonging. It was only by creating space for restoration and surrendering to its divine flow that I experienced true transformation and healing finally taking root in my life. It was as if I had finally cracked the code on entering and experiencing a new higher timeline.

Just like in nature, surrendering to divine flow is purposeful, medicinal, and transformational. When it's time for our own ascension and transformation, we must enter a phase of restoration, dormancy, and conservation to allow it to happen. This sacred time transmutes our experiences and transforms us from deep within. It requires and offers deep inner tending and recalibration.

At first, surrendering to healing through restoration, conservation, and dormancy felt scary, risky, boring, and inconvenient, and I didn't know what awaited me on the other side. But with time, courage, and trust in the process, I found that what awaited me was so much more aligned with my true sense self. It was a beautiful and rewarding cleanse that leveled me up.

The restoration cycle calls to us after periods of trauma, defeat, emotional suffering, overwhelm, challenges, as well as, after positive experiences such as transition, growth, creative endeavors, work accomplishments, and spiritual assignments. In these circumstances, we must not ignore its call but embrace it fully and flow with it and into it.

An Environment to Thrive In

Creating a safe environment for ourselves to live the experience of safety away from anything overwhelming or depleting is divine medicine and intervention. It is something all souls, minds, and bodies deserve, just as nature intended.

I now allow The Divine to have as much space and time as necessary in my life to guide me through the restorative cycle. Embracing the slower cycles of life for their restorative and empowering abilities, qualities, and attributes is as much a part of my sacred spiritual path, well-being, and workflow as is embracing the normal, accelerating, and faster-paced flow when it’s go-time.

It’s accurate to say that taking my power back through rest and rejuvenation has been a cornerstone of my healing and expansion. It has undergirded and strengthened me and given me a firmer and more secure foundation to live upon.

Sometimes, we must be honest with ourselves and say, "Let me sit slow down, sit somewhere, and heal. Whew!" And then, we must actually do it. Whatever or whoever needs to be removed from our lives for the sake of our healing and thriving, so be it. The restorative cycle breaks strongholds and nurtures us back to life. Putting boundaries in place to honor this has vitally supported my process and is paramount in preventing sabotage. Consistency is queen and empress here!! What I discovered, is that the more consistent I became with my process, the less people took it personally. Our consistency trains people how to value us. Read that again my sacred friend!!

Whether it's energetic surgery or wound healing, big or small, never underestimate what the divine is doing in your life through the restoration cycle. It is connected to your higher purpose and the path of divine flow. Each time I emerge from this cycle, I feel washed, purged, and sacredly renewed. I am transformed.

Make Space

I divinely encourage you to embrace the restoration cycle through moments of stillness, self-care, tending, and making space for deeper rest. Allow yourself to enter the restoration cycle and experience what the power of dormancy and conservation are available to do for you and through you. Trust in the sacred process, and know that you are on the path to coming home to yourself, to be nurtured in order that you may thrive all the more expansively.

Just as with nature (and tech) there’s no way to fully reach our full potential without going through the Restoration Cycle.

Conserve for What The Divine is Preparing You For

Prepare, conserve, and rest for what’s coming. Begin preparing for what you’re praying for. Rest up for the new pace your desired life will come with. Make energetic space for the blessings that are heading your way that you can’t yet imagine or energetically handle or sustain just yet. This is powerful subconscious and manifestation work. This is expansion work. This is energy work. This is spiritual work.

Provide yourself this sacred gift by simultaneously feeling a strong sense that you are worthy and deserving of the blessings to come and that the sacred time of restoration and conservation are attached to a higher purpose that is working for your good.

The first time I was aware of this phenomenon work-wise was during the liminal space between writing my first book, Vibrate Higher Daily, and taking up space in the world as a guide, teacher, speaker, public figure, and in the work of collective consciousness healing. I needed consecrated time to birth the new body, mind, and energy field that could hold this new life, calling, and higher-purpose path.

To support myself in shifting into this divine flow and process, the restoration cycle was necessary, conservation was necessary, and dormancy was necessary in order to burn off what was no longer resonant or needed, and to dissolve and transform into what was needed.

In the spirit of ‘no gatekeeping’, I began using binaural beats for brain entrainment to help me fully shift into different necessary modes. I still use binaural beats and brain entrainment to this very day and share them in our member emails. I also work with the elements: earth, wind, fire, and water as they each harness and provide various forces and unique properties for change, healing, guidance, and renewal.

The Energy Cleanse playlist I’ve curated is the result and outpouring of this intentional sacred practice and path.

Conserve energy for what is healing, restoring, and being built within you and through you.

Reset to show up in the right, renewed energy when it’s go time.

Allow the old you to dissolve and the new you to be birthed and risen through The Restoration Cycle.

Overcome Fear at This Time by Immersing in Divine Security and Reassurance

As I immerse myself in this process of slowing down and practicing self-care, I have discovered the importance of feeling safe and secure when surrendering to this restorative cycle, especially when we fear of missing out or losing something.

It is natural to feel apprehensive about slowing down and taking time for ourselves, especially in a world that constantly encourages us to be in a constant state of busyness. We may worry that by pausing and practicing self-care, we will miss out on opportunities, experiences, or even lose our momentum. However, I have learned that surrendering to the restorative cycle does not mean giving up on our dreams or ambitions. Instead, it is a necessary step towards replenishing our energy, nurturing our well-being, and ultimately allowing ourselves to thrive.

To feel safe and secure during this process, it is vital to cultivate a sense of trust in ourselves and in the natural rhythm of life. Remind yourself that taking the time to rest and recharge is not a sign of weakness, but rather a courageous act of self-care. Embrace the belief that by honoring your own needs and boundaries, you are creating a solid foundation from which you can pursue your goals with clarity and resilience.

Spiritually-speaking, ask for signs and divine reassurance to communicate to you, and then with an open and receptive mind, energy-field, and heart, pay attention to the answers that come to you. I live by this!! It’s a beautiful and nurturing way to deepen our connection with The Divine during this time and beyond it.

It can also be helpful to let go of the fear of missing out by focusing on the present moment. Instead of constantly worrying about what you might be missing, practice mindfulness and fully engage and immerse in the activities, experiences, and connections that align with your higher values and intentions around restoration and divine flow, and that bring you joy. Trust that by taking care of yourself and nurturing your well-being, you are creating a life that is even more authentic, fulfilling, and meaningful deep down in your soul.

Creating a Solid Foundation for Embodiment and Expansion

The Restorative Cycle is a powerful opportunity for personal growth and rejuvenation. As we surrender to this process and embrace personal conservation and dormancy, may we remind ourselves that we are deserving of rest, self-care, peace, change, and gentle nurturing. By cultivating a sense of safety and security within ourselves, we can fully embrace this transformative journey, knowing that we are creating a solid foundation for a vibrant and fulfilling life, a new higher timeline to grace with higher purpose, and our rejuvenated, renewed, and empowered embodiment.
