About

Along the journey to taking my power back and vibrating higher, discovering how to not take things personally would become a major key and play a pivotal role in advancing and enhancing my spiritual growth, mental health, emotional healing, liberation, life perspective, and overall well-being and embodiment. It was a newfound form of rest and an energetic sanctuary for my soul.

It allowed me to navigate the ever-changing tides of life with grace and equanimity, no longer allowing others to affect my peace of mind, focus, joy, or sense of self-worth. The journey towards mastering this art of non-attachment and emotional resilience was not always easy, but divinely doable, and after a while, it became easier and easier, and now it’s a high vibrational pattern and embodiment. How did I do it? I dedicated myself to practicing mindfulness and equanimity and to cultivating a deep sense of self-love and grace. I began to witness a profound shift in my consciousness and emotional patterns and I kept going forward, expanding in this higher, liberated direction.

I realized that the power to determine my own joy and stability lies within me and that by releasing the need to take things personally, I had more power and energy to truly embrace my authentic path and live a life aligned with my higher purpose and values.

By embracing and embodying this mindset and lifestyle of non-reactivity and equanimity through learning to not take things personally, I shifted to a new, higher timeline, one of self-discovery, healing, and expansive liberation. I’m forever grateful for the spiritual awakening, personal growth, and embodiment-expansion it’s provided me.

I'm often asked how I stay so calm, graceful, and composed. As a highly sensitive person and empath, like many of you, I'm excited to share with you how I went from losing my power at the drop of any off-putting energy, exchange, or experience to navigating through energy, experiences, exchanges, and environments, with power, composure, and poise.

Class Notes

What To Know

Energy is transferable: Be mindful of what’s being transferred in your interaction, environment, exchanges, and experiences.

Projections: You are not responsible or indebted to other people's projections. Don't personalize them.

Toxic shame and stress from others: These are projections. Stay sovereign and in your truth and equanimity.

Stagnant energy or mental heaviness that has stifled you shifts and dissolves as you stop personalizing what other people do. You become energetically lighter, freer, and healthier. Certain health issues are resolved too.

Release the stress-energy mindset: Sustained activation of the body's stress response, sudden stress, and chronic stress impact many of the brain's vital systems; hence amygdala take-over, imbalance, and disempowerment.

Equanimity over Reactivity

  • Move through the energetic withdrawal symptoms that come with newly healing and no longer taking things personally.

  • There may be a sense of need to fill the void with a reaction

  • Allow your brain and neurology to create new, higher pathways

  • Replace reacting with responding in your equanimity

  • Become mindful of how you respond to outcomes

  • Stay mindful that the energy and vibration you send out affects you first.

  • Be watchful for false and instant gratification and neurotransmitter shifts.

  • Not all emotions are created equal.

Analogy:

  • You're in a hospital. Are you going to be the doctor or the patient?

In the Field of Epigenetics:

"We now know that what we experience in life changes our epigenetic profile, or in other words, life experience changes our genes, really getting under our skin. Not only does this affect the individual, but the way our bodies respond to stress can also be passed from one generation to the next through our genes."

– Bruce Lipton, PhD, Cell Biologist, Writer, Lecturer

Hold Your Vibration:

  • Be aware of the energy around you.

  • This centering equanimity practice can be one of the most challenging for impulsive and highly reactive people but one the most potent and essential practices for supporting mental health, energetic well-being, emotional growth, and liberation.

Metaphorical Terrains and Weather in Communication:

The Ocean: Emotional highs and lows, high tides/low tides, a place for purging what doesn’t serve you, balancing waves, divine flow, and expanding the mind.

The Storm: Sudden mood swings or anger, arguments, frustration, resentment, hostility, jealousy, strife, and accusations A place for creating stabilization, cleansing through shifting, and building healthy boundaries and pathways forward.

The Desert: Divine patience, distance, solitude, isolation, silence, detachment, liminal space, a place of transformation, spiritual significance, higher purpose, and to clear the mind.

The Mountain: Blockage, miscommunication, stagnation, overcoming, healing, processing, new, a place of higher perspective, strengthening of the mind.

The Fog: Foggy thoughts, low clarity level, not sure where to turn, creative blocks, communication blocks, time to slow down and align, a place to welcome greater mental focus and allow energetics and guidance to become clear.

A new higher timeline

A new, higher timeline is a new reality you decide to co-create with The Divine, exist in, and signal from. Lower vibrations from the old timeline and from within your former self fade away; they lose their grip on you and don't have the same power over you or your way of being in the world any longer. You are living an intentional, higher-vibrational, embodied life.

High vibrational embodiment

High vibrational embodiment is the art and practice of allowing higher vibrations, higher power, higher integrity, higher values, and divine radiance to shine through you and in your day-to-day experiences, responses, choices, interactions, mindset, character, and presence. Embodiment is where you don't just talk about it; you are it. Be mindful not to get tripped up into taking things personally. Stay in vibrational awareness.

Solutions

  • Provide a nurturing and safe environment for yourself.

  • Move and respond with intentional equanimity.

  • Maintain, or return to high vibrational embodiment.

  • Decompress with mindfulness activities to recuperate and discharge and release absorbed energy and to take your power back.

  • Movement: Clear your body of energy, somatic movement, baths, rest, and ritualize your joy.

  • Reduce your exposure to toxic energy, toxic stress, abuse, and mistreatment.

  • Nurture yourself and seek support. With the right nurturing and high vibrational environment, and with consistency, our resilience expands.

  • Be resilient: Resilience is the ability to thrive, adapt, and cope despite challenging and stressful times.

  • Counterbalance any negative experiences with rejuvenating ones. Self-care is how you take your power back.

  • Be aware and mindful of any energetic withdrawal symptoms and grow through them.

  • Love yourself through it.

  • Push through the transformative liminal space of no longer taking things personally.

  • You may experience pressure or stress to react but stay in your equanimity. Stay on your seat of power. Stay in your higher, authentic embodiment.

  • Eat right to feel right: If you're a highly sensitive person, what you eat matters and impacts your state of feeling and being, greatly. Beware of stimulants. Skip the table sugar, caffeine, toxic chemicals, neurotoxins, and endocrine disruptors.

  • Don’t get lost in the reaction or energy. Come back home to yourself.

Supportive Tools

  • Cortisol testing

  • Hormone testing

  • B vitamins help neurotransmitters function properly.

  • B12 is important for the brain and nerves

  • Methylated B complex (great for better B absorption)

  • Activated B vitamins

  • Magnesium

  • Mood shifters: gratitude journaling, laughter, ritualizing your joy, dancing, movement

  • Know what time of day to have what conversations during. Is your cortisol low in the AM and higher in the evening?

  • Nurture and strengthen your spirit and mind in the mornings to set yourself up for energetic success.

LALAH’s QUOTES

  • "You are not responsible for other people's projections."

  • “Not taking things personally is how you take your power back.”
