Meaningful Presence IN CONVERSATION, Community, AND LIFE

When was the last time your soul felt nourished by a conversation you had? Do you desire more of this type of connection in your life?

When was the last time you brought soul medicine to someone in the form of a meaningful conversation or nourishing presence?

A meaningful, soulful presence serves as nourishment, sustaining us on both our outer and inner journeys through life. We may carry hidden struggles within or openly face challenges shared by others, but the longing of our souls remains the same: to forge genuine connections amidst our experiences and existence. In the highs and lows of life, these connections bring us solace and remind us that we’re never alone. Embracing the power of connection uplifts and empowers us on our path. Connection helps us feel connected.

01

Having Someone Show Up And Be Present, Mindful, And Engaged In connection With Us Is Mindfulness at Its Finest.

Mindfulness is not just about being alone with your thoughts; it's also about being aware of how to be present and engaged in the moment with others. When someone shows up to be mindful with us, we can feel their presence and connection more deeply than if they were simply observing from afar. We can experience an intimate exchange that brings relief, joy, peace, understanding, and insight into our lives. Mindful presence at its finest is about being in the moment together and allowing ourselves to be seen, heard, and felt. Through mindful presence, we have access to a level of connection that strengthens our relationships and brings deepened connections into our lives.

02

Earth Angel and Divne Vessle embodiment

Spiritually speaking, when we show up with a meaningful presence for others, we also embrace a purposeful presence and become embodied as an earth angel, divine vessel, and a catalyst for expansion.

Being fully present with one another is what brings true depth and power to relationships. This can be a profound path to healing and an opportunity for spiritual growth and expression.

03

Discernment as Guidance

As you live the path of higher alignment, your spiritual gifts and insights strengthen. The gift of discernment is one of these core gifts. Discernment will inform you as to what is best for you and those around you and what is and isn’t a call for you to step in with your energy. Through your own spiritual expansion and maturity, you’ll know what’s right, what’s a divine assignment, what isn’t, and how to move forward in either way.

04

Equanimity + Spiritual Protection

Embrace your sacred role, desire, and opportunity to nurture those around you while simultaneously practicing equanimity, and you’ll remain in your power. As you deepen and expand in meaningful presence, remember that you are a strong and powerful vessel. Know that you are covered and armored by divine protection.

05

Navigate Through The Awkwardness

Sometimes, being a vessel of healing means wading through awkwardness in the process. For example, when you feel called to act yet don’t know what to do or say, it can be intimidating and uncomfortable. Remember that you are held by divine intelligence—it will guide your words and actions regardless of how uncoordinated or misguided they might seem at first. :)

We show up fully and engage with the moment we grow as we go.

06

Fostering Meaningful Community

I invite you to practice mindfulness with us as a collective. Be seen, heard, and felt in your fullest presence, growth, and embodiment. Together, we can create more space where meaningful connections blossom, love grows, and transformation happens through nurturing connections.

Together, we can create strong spiritual communities that are safe havens of understanding and support. May we open our hearts in the spirit of true connection, understanding, unity, and community. This is mindfulness and high vibrational community at their finest.

May we recieve, discover, and explore the profound power of meaningful presence as a form of expansion.

07 Re-Member Yourself + Grounding

When our vibration goes unchecked or uncared for too long, or if it becomes too scattered and low, we spiral out and become fragmented. Imagine that visual, parts of ourselves spiraling out in fragments or pieces. In a vibrationally fragmented and scattered state, we don't have enough power to show up for ourselves, let alone for others, or our work, goals, and intentions.

Now, ‘re-member’ yourself. Meaning, put yourself back together again. Call your energy back. Come back home to your empowered, authentic self. For this, visualize all of the fragmented parts of yourself re-assembling and vibrating into higher alignment, authenticity, and power. Visualize your wholeness.

(Repeat this visualization exercise anytime you sense it necessary. It’s a powerful one.)

Meaningful conversations and community require our whole selves. They also require: a mindful presence. If we're not mindful and entirely present in our bodies, we can't contribute to conversations with others in a meaningful way. This goes for inner dialogue too. This can be during a conversation in a relationship, with family and friends, in public, at work, online, in-service, or anywhere else.

Meaningful conversations and building community require us to embody our true selves. If we're not mindful and entirely present in our bodies, we can't contribute to conversations with others in a meaningful way. By grounding ourselves in the present moment, we become capable of making genuine contributions to conversations and fostering deep connections with others. This practice of mindfulness extends to both our external interactions and our inner dialogues. Whether engaging in relationships, connecting with loved ones, navigating public spaces, working diligently, embracing the online realm, serving others, or anywhere else, striving to remain spiritually attuned and grounded is vital. Let's also be mindful to explore this all with grace as we learn and grow as we go.

Showing up as a stable force for yourself and for others takes coming home to yourself daily. When you're ‘home’ you're in your power. That's how you'll know. And that's when and how you'll be most potent, magnetic, purposeful, and meaningful.

Vibrating higher daily helps us remember who we are and to show up in our power, for ourselves and for others.

Longing For

Meaningfulness

A meaningful conversation and connection is a conduit for something greater. It has the power to awaken, inspire, uplift, and guide us. A conversation that's not meaningful when you need it to be is much like eating an unfulfilling meal. You invest energy, yet instead of nourishing you or satisfying your hunger in return, it depletes you and drains you of positive energy, leaving you not feeling better off.

I recall many times when the medicine my soul was longing for was a meaningful conversation and genuine connection around whatever I was going through.

Can you relate to this? There were also instances when not receiving this type of support was all the more burdensome. Felt like I was journeying up a mountain with a ton of unwanted weight alone.

But, what has given me peace in the midst of those times, is vibrational awareness. I became aware through insight, teachings, experience, and mindful observation, that not everyone is at a whole place within themselves to help others outside of themselves. They are, however, doing the best they can at the vibrational level they are at. We all are. Deep exhale to that!!

This awareness allowed me to show up with compassion and to love people where they are while calling in and manifesting my supportive community. Not everyone will be able to hold space for you, and that’s alright. The quicker we surrender to this, the less energy we spend on our expectations or needs not being met, and the more energy we can put towards calling in those that do and will.

Having support and community in my life is sacred and means the world to me. I realize that the people who show up and hold space for me meaningfully and mindfully are opening themselves up as vessels for a higher power. And Lord knows: this is glorious!!

09

“Your Grandmother's Prayers Are Still Protecting You”.

On the Expanded podcast with host Lacy Phillips, The Goop Podcast, and on the Hey Girl podcast with Alex Elle, I shared a bit about the strong sense of nurturing I received from my grandmothers. They were the type of women who could enter the room, and all of your 'chakras' would align. They knew how to hold space, uplift communities, calm spirits, nourish souls, and have enough energy left over to keep thriving. You can read more about my grandmothers in my book, Vibrate Higher Daily: Live Your Power. They were a force, each in their own unique and beautifully effective way.

And so are you, we, us!!

10

Receiving Guidance

We have the torch. Let's show up with this type of presence in the world. If you don't feel you have enough examples or experience with meaningful presence just yet, connect with elders and others who embody it. This may mean exploring and expanding your community. Connect to the divine and ancestral presence within you that carries this powerful force. It will help shape you and guide you on. The divine and ancestral presence within you will show you how to become more and more whole and meaningful for yourself and others.

11

Manifesting Support

And lastly, listen, there may be one or two people making up your support system right now, maybe it’s only you, whatever the case, it’s alright.

Vibrating higher daily is about starting with what you have and from where you are daily. Vibrating higher with what you have to work with is how all else manifests and expands.

Practices & Prompts for Contemplation Around Meaningful Presence & Conversations

Here are a few guided prompts, practices, and affirmations for being, as well as manifesting, a more meaningful presence in your life:

Don't assume: Don't assume you know what's going on with the other person. Ask, be present, and listen. Ask how you can best support the present moment, situation, and or season. This saves time and keeps us from doing things that aren't meaningful or useful and that don't add substance, support, or benefit to the other person's life.

Tuning In with Awareness

Contemplations for Mindful Presence

  • I'm here listening and holding space because this is supportive of them.

  • I‘m where I’m supposed to be right now as a conduit.

  • As a vessel, I allow a higher power to serve through me in this moment or situation.

  • I honor this fellow being, and I’m in mindful service to help end their suffering.

  • This present moment is the practice, it is the meditation, it is the path to vibrating higher.

  • I will kindly observe and do what needs to be done within my power to do so.

  • I graciously take action within my realm of capability and capacity, empowered by a higher purpose.

Restoring Mindful Presence and Balance with Another Person:

  • I see that what I said, or perhaps how I said it, is bothering you.

  • I didn't mean to hurt or offend you.

  • I'd like to restore balance and harmony between us.

  • Forgive me.

  • Forgive me for not being fully here for you. My intention now is to be present and mindful of you. I am here now.

Example of Mindful Starter Questions:

  • What have you been struggling with lately?

  • Where does it hurt?" as civil rights activist Ruby Sales would ask.

  • How are you coping?

  • How can I best support you in this season?”

  • I’d like to support you. How can I best do that?

  • Are there any projects I can support you with?”

  • Can I pick up some groceries for you?

  • Do you need anything that I can provide?

  • Do you want to talk about what's going on?

  • How is your emotional/mental health right now?

  • How can I help to lighten your load?”

  • What do you need right now?

Affirmations to use:

  • I am a positive and meaningful support to others.

  • Others are a positive and meaningful support to me.

  • I am more and more present and mindful daily.

  • I have mutual support and meaningful community and connections in my life.

  • I am surrounded by an expanding supportive community.

  • I am mindfully and purposefully evolving.

Be Intentional:

Be intentional in your conversations, big or small. Make it a big thing!! Because it is.

Be sure you’re allowing support to find you. Replace whatever thoughts you have of not being supported with gratitude that support is on its way.

Continue to embrace the spiritual path of uplifting and nurturing yourself and others.

Before You Go

Mother Nature, with her plant medicine, is always here to support us and carry us through. A flower essence that I work with that assists me in supporting myself and others in a grounded and meaningful way is Bach’s Clematis. An essential oil that does the same is organic cinnamon oil. Working with Rose opens the heart, raises our vibration, and grounds us as well!!
