Enter the 'survival kit' - a powerful set of tools that help us transcend our circumstances and grow into the best versions of ourselves.

Surviving Growth, Shifts & Transformation

Life is a continuous journey of growth, expansion, and transformation. These processes are essential for our personal and spiritual development, but they are at times accompanied by growing pains and obstacles. It’s during these moments that we must learn to wield the power of survival and perseverance as spiritual tools.


Personally, I’ve had to embrace this concept out of necessity too many times to count. Life presented me with numerous challenges that required me to tap into my inner hero, strength, and resourcefulness. Through these experiences, I’ve come to understand the immense potential hidden within the act of survival and determination. It’s not merely about enduring; it’s about evolving and thriving in the face of adversity; it’s about vibrating higher.


My belief in the force of vibrating higher daily has deepened my understanding even further. I now recognize that by consciously patterning our lives, raising our vibrations, and aligning ourselves with aligned energy, we can transcend the difficulties we encounter. Vibrating higher daily is about approaching life with a sense of empowerment, grace, and skill, fully embracing our spiritual and soul essence.


By cultivating a survival kit that includes spiritual tools such as mindfulness, gratitude, and self-care, we can navigate the weather and metaphorical terrains of life with greater ease. These practices help us stay grounded, maintain clarity, and connect with our inner wisdom. They provide us with the strength and resilience needed to overcome any obstacles that come our way.


Surviving life experiences may feel like an arduous journey, but it doesn't have to be the end of the road. Thriving ‘in spite of’ is expansion work. With a well-equipped survival kit and a commitment to vibrating through, over, and beyond, we can transform challenging times into opportunities for growth.

Spiritually speaking, most things end up working for our good. But it's a whole other thing to feel it when in the eye of an energetic storm, struggle, desert, or battle. As you awaken and embody your inner hero, you thrive through periods of growth, shifts, transformation, and uncertainty with otherworldly strength and purpose.

Wilderness Survival Analogies

 

  1. Move in the light and rest at night: Take advantage of the time when your energy is high. Do what you can during the peak time for you. Optimize when you can. Rest and restore to not burn out or deplete your energy for the following day. 

  2. Strip away what is not serving you: Travel light! Don’t carry around dead weight on the journey. Carrying around ‘access baggage’ when on a mission to survive weighs you down and slows you down. You’ll move more efficiently by letting go of what no longer serves you. Leave behind what weighs you down.

  3. Build up your energy reserves: Store up while you can. Recharge your mental, energetic, and spiritual capacity for when you need them to support your process. Keep in mind that the journey may be long, don’t waste energy and time on what doesn’t positively charge, fuel, or fulfill you. 

  4. Mind care: Just like being stranded for prolonged amounts of time in the wild, the more you keep your mind sharp and focused, the higher your chances of survival are. Read books, write, attend classes, meditate, study, exercise, play brain games, and keep those neurons firing and pathways connecting!!

  5. Be resourceful: Think of alternative methods for functioning, healing, operating, being, and making moves. Be open to trying new methods, places, foods, and things. Expand your insightfulness and skills as necessary.

  6. Find shelter:  Find what makes you feel sheltered. Create a safe, sacred space to spend alone time in it. Seek quiet moments and solitude to hear guidance. Guard energy and your mind from ‘predators’: energy vampires, doubters, toxic energy, and people who don’t get your process or who don’t support you.

  7. Look for hazards: Be mindful of your surroundings and the energy around you. Move to a safer space when necessary. Let go of what doesn’t serve you. Be intentional about what type of vibration and energy you allow in, consume, and tolerate.

  8. Stay hydrated: Look to what quenches and hydrates your spiritual thirst. Think living waters that flow deep. Stay close to what hydrates your spirit and soul. And your body too!! As far as drinking water, Spring, Alkaline, and Ionized water are best. Mineral drops can be added to drinking water to enhance absorption and increase mineral and electrolyte content.

  9. Be compass-minded: Use discernment to guide which direction to move in. Is the current path and direction serving you? Which direction are you headed in? Are you going uphill or downhill, upstream or downstream? Follow your north star, your power, and high vibrations.

  10. SOS: Know when to call out for help. Strength also looks like asking for help. The right person has the resources to help you through; if one person doesn’t, keep making space for the right one/s to show up.

Survival Kit Contents

  • Nutrition Care: Eat like you want to survive. You can’t process and thrive fully by eating foods full of neurotoxins, stimulants, and hormone disrupters. These wreak havoc on the mind and on the hormonal, immune, and nervous systems. Be mindful of unhealthy cravings and any rising food sensitivities or allergies. Your body may be calling for you to avoid certain foods (even some that you usually eat). It may be asking for you to implement certain foods/herbs into your nutrition or more of a particular food/herb you already eat/work with.

  • Nervous-System Care: Rest up, sweet angel! Be sure to pamper your nervous system, take baths to discharge built-up stress and mental heaviness, and try massage therapy or reflexology for the same purpose. Take your favorite adaptogens and caffeine-free herbal teas to fortify and thrive. Be mindful of those disrupting chemicals. Go natural. Go green :) 

  • Vibrational Awareness: Be mindful and selective of who you share your process. This avoids negative energy from people who are not supportive of your process, or happy for you, and it energetically protects the process. Avoid people with limited beliefs/thoughts that usually try to project and transfer their limits onto you.

  • Spiritual Care: Stay anchored, rooted, and fortified spiritually. Seek higher guidance. Take time to listen to, talk, and walk with the Divine–daily.

  • Vibrational Care: Do more of what centers you, balances you, and supports you in vibrating higher.

  • Mind Care: Expand. Open up to the process don’t contract, and close off to in. Strengthen your mind through intentional methods. Be gentle with yourself. “You’re doing amazing, sweetie!” ;) 

  • Battery source: Spend time in nature. Vitamin D via direct sunlight is known as one of the best healers–mind, body, soul. Have more sunlight therapy/sun exposure. Look it up! Try infrared therapy/infrared saunas when being out in direct sunlight is not as accessible.  

  • Remember The Butterfly: Don’t give up because it’s hard. Keep the process in mind. You’re becoming new in various ways. Survive the process. Let go of what was and become who you are meant to be. Spread your wings and fly butterfly!!

  1. Where can you engage with more presence, intention, awareness, and energy in your life?

  2. What therapeutically slows you down and makes you feel like you again?

  3. Are you enjoying all that you have now? 


Reflection:

  1. Think of how far you’ve come whenever you doubt your ability and strength to carry on and make it through.

  2. Honoring the process is how you take your power back.
