About

One thing I've learned for sure is that there is power in my current situation, no matter what it is.

And I can vibrate higher and live my power through it all, including 'the storm' and all other weather and terrains. And so can you.

Life can become disrupted on various fronts: emotionally, mentally, spiritually, financially, physically, energetically, or relationally. Due to various conditions, disruption can appear on our personal journey without our consent or preparedness and without immediate support, clear direction, or relief.

Without clarity, or at times a clear name for what's happening to us, we can find ourselves lost or overwhelmed by the chaos, unforeseen challenges, and turbulent winds of life.

For me, putting a name to the specific stages of my journey revolutionized my entire outlook, awareness, power, process, and connection to them, and ultimately, power over them.

Nature is our great reflection and teacher. Be mindful that some people are affected on minimal levels in any storm, crisis, or disruption, and some are hardest affected. Reflectively, mind and soul, this happens with life events and experiences. In my book, Vibrate Higher Daily: Live Your Power, I use metaphors in nature, such as mountains, deserts, oceans, fog, and storms, in a symbolic way. We reach these terrains on the path to vibrating higher and during times of transformation, transition, health, strengthening, self-actualization, and when seeking connection to the world and others.

What to Know

The storm creates the ending of routine, normalcy, rigidness, and complacency. It's a shift and, at times, a symbolic death of things. It shifts the atmosphere and eventually stabilizes the atmosphere.

Metaphorical + Emotional Terrains and Weather Guide: The Storm

The High Vibrational Storm:

New welcomed and embraced changes, transformation, cleansing, releasing, a greater sense of purpose, new direction, a shift, a sense of a higher power being in control, deeper connection to your faith, a time for restructuring and rebuilding.

The Low Vibration Storm:

Experiencing unwelcomed changes, sudden disruption, disorientation, a sudden undesired shift in your daily life, health, or relationships, a drop in mood or vibration, uncontrollable or heighten anger, fear, saddness, or anxiety, a sudden loss, chaos, trauma, instrusive thoughts, or sudden severe pain.

The storm can happen in conjunction with any terrain and weather.

Suffering

  • Learn how to deal with and be with difficulty, stress, chaos, and pain however they manifest in your inner and outer life.

  • There is wisdom in suffering. There are spiritual lessons, practices, and teachings we can apply, we are not tool-less.

  • Look for the lesson, blessing, and/or insight.

  • Journey in grace and equanimity.

Live in the Power of Balance

When the storm and terrains came as a result of a "life event" or shift that was unavoidable or unfixable, like when I couldn't change or stop the event from happening, I was eventually able to live my power through it. While feeling the weight of the storm emotionally and vibrationally, I still carried on. I ate right for my vibrational goals, returned to my equanimity, and did what helped me vibrate higher daily, I was taking care and applying the tools and teachings. I persevered.

In my younger years, and with my former programming, I was unable to simultaneously process pain and manifest solutions and triumph through the terrains and weather. I couldn't do both. Thankfully, this didn’t remain the case. I eventually found a way to navigate higher and beyond.

Flourishing through the pain, the unknown, uncertainty, liminal spaces, and even chaos is possible. No matter what it looks or feels like, they are not final destinations.

As I took each day at a time and maintained my well-being and vibrational being, I started to see the sun and clear skies again. I began to flourish through the storm. I cracked a code and began to live, really live, my power. Praise be!!

Higher Will

  • Spiritual beliefs and our subconscious mind can do more than we realize in times of stress. Our will is a powerful spiritual force.

  • In fact, it’s known that major chaotic life events, ‘Storms’, have been the catalyst for some of the greatest awakenings, creations, inventions, and transformations we’ve known.

  • Disruption, in this way, is a redefining time and space where we each have the opportunity to manifest, reinvent, and/or rebirth ourselves.

  • We can use the storm for our higher good.

  • Transform, upgrade, and revolutionize how you think, believe, and signal in the storm; this means managing your energy, focus, and vibration with heightened awareness, self-accountability, tools, and care.

  • Here we can manifest the determination and power to shift things in our lives and embrace necessary change.

  • Realize you can be a sovereign being capable of being free from old timelines and programs that don't serve you.

  • The storm is divinely aligning you.

  • Tap into higher wisdom, insight, and higher guidance.

Embodiment In the Storm & Solutions:

Transformation and Transcendence Shift

Embodiment-wise, a transformed mind and elevated perspective shift allow you to go through the storm with equanimity and higher vibrational awareness versus feeling agitated or defeated by the storm. You can transform to the point of surviving and outlasting it and journeying in your power.

When we shift our perspective from agitation to vibrational awareness and equanimity, the thing causing suffering subsides and becomes our great teacher. We take our spiritual and mental strength back in this way.

Shifting your mindset and embodiment in the storm is a spiritual discipline and power vibrational signal.

Vibrational Influences in the Storm

Avoid people who project defeat and discouragement. Also, if you can, limit your time around fear-based people, media, and content. Be mindful of exposing and feeding your subconscious mind anything less than high vibrational empowerment.

Take Care

  • Nurture your sense of inner peace and inner power daily.

  • Do more of what helps strengthen and sustain you: body, energy, spirit, mind, and subconscious mind. Think of spiritual practices, restorative practices, supportive foods, proper rest, and plant medicines to integrate into your life.

  • Connect to a supportive community and a source of strength outside of yourself.

  • Come back home to yourself daily, and nurture your heart and nervous system.

  • Know when to take shelter to rest and reset.

Mindful Speech, Actions, and Beliefs

  • Reframe any and all disempowering words, bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slanderous behavior towards yourself, others, and your higher potential reality.

  • Be gracious, but have healthy boundaries.

  • Be forgiving and compassionate to yourself and others.

  • Forgiveness is an energy cleanse that cuts energetic cords.

  • Take divinely good care of yourself and of one another, in the storm.

  • Be open to being the hands or voice of God on earth for someone going through a storm.

  • Be mindful of your subconscious signals and make necessary mental programming adjustments that empower you to thrive forward.

Be a Lighthouse

  • As empathic or highly sensitive beings, we can become over-programmed by fear-energy to think that helping others is always to our own demise.

  • This is not the case when you learn how to remain in your equanimity and healthy boundaries.

  • HSP's are powerful, not weak. Our gifts are sacred and necessary. We are vessels and conduits.

  • Be open to being the hands or voice of God on earth for someone going through a storm.

  • Across spiritual communities and cultural lines, helping others is a warm path and practice of spiritual communities that can restore our own sense of mental health and well-being. Through helping others, we, ourselves find solace, peace, balance, and a higher sense of purpose.

  • Set healthy boundaries for supporting others.

  • Keep your heart and intentions pure.

  • Use discernment and good judgment always.

  • As you journey forward and live your power, keep your heart open to altruism, the selfless concern for the well-being of others.

  • We can do both; we can honor our true nature as HSP’s and serve as vessels, beacons, and lighthouses, and, in fact, we are wondrously created to do so.

  • We are divinely covered as we stay energetically, vibrationally, and spiritually charged up and close to The Divine realm. Your inner work and higher path are a form of protection.

Solutions:

  • Embrace new possibilities.

  • Embrace change.

  • Embrace necessary upgrades.

  • Adopt healthier and better practices where necessary.

  • Relax and let go of any expectation of perfection.

  • Showing up and surrendering to the call is the higher goal.

  • Journey in grace.

  • Integrate more soul medicine, prayer, and empowerment tools.

  • Embrace necessary change over being rigid and dogmatic.

  • Be mindful of your subconscious beliefs and signals and make necessary adjustments.

  • Take incremental steps to make better decisions

  • Take it one day at a time.

  • You'll get to where you're destined to arrive, you’re well on your way.

Supportive Quotes

The way we hold our body is the way we condition our mind and heart: a kind of uprightness. It’s how we hold ourselves while performing ordinary tasks and while serving others. A strong back exemplifies equanimity. Balance; we need balance in our lives. Can we be pliable, nimble?
The winds come but we do not break. And then, our strong back is complemented by a soft front. What is it to be open to things, just as they are? That’s compassion, being with reality just as it is, whatever it is, cries of suffering or the sounds of joy. Strong back, soft front. See if you can feel that complementarity. So often it’s strong front–very defended– and soft and fearful back. We can set things right: strong back, soft front.
